Marilyn M. Aciego is the Publisher of Inside Lake and a veteran journalist with more than two decades of experience covering Lake County. Born and raised locally, she is a graduate of Umatilla High School and Lake-Sumter State College, where her journalism career began. Marilyn has reported on some of the area’s most high-profile and impactful stories, including the disappearance of Trenton Duckett, the death of Sheriff Chris Daniels, and the murders of Jamaria Sessions, Master Deputy Bradley Link and Xavier Williams. The 18-year-old woman was driving a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E southbound, north of mile marker 291, when she hit the back of a 2024 Hino tow truck that was merging from the outside shoulder into the outside lane, around 9:45 p.m., FHP said. Investigation underway after body found in Eustis field, no foul play suspected

EUSTIS, Fla.—Eustis Police Department is investigating after a woman’s body was found Monday afternoon near a busy commercial and residential area. “It appears to be a natural death,” EPD Chief Craig Capri told Inside Lake. LEESBURG, Fla.—The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has identified the man found deceased in Lake Harris Friday.
