Motorcyclist killed after crashing into tree on County Road 42

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A 36-year-old Ormond Beach man was killed Wednesday afternoon when his motorcycle ran off County Road 42 and struck a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The man was riding a 2022 Ducati motorcycle eastbound on County Road 42, west of Central Camp Road in the DeLand portion of Lake County, at 1:40 p.m. when he attempted to negotiate a curve to the left, FHP said. Tavares man killed in Orange County rollover crash

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A Tavares man was killed Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. LEESBURG, Fla. — A 23-year-old woman who was shot and killed while allegedly trying to enter a stranger’s home early Tuesday has been identified, and police say evidence collected at the scene was consistent with the homeowner’s account of the shooting. Ananda Conley of Leesburg was identified by Leesburg Police Department Wednesday afternoon.
