PAISLEY, Fla. — Foggy conditions led to two crashes involving multiple vehicles Monday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Shortly before 6:30 a.m., a crash occurred on County Road 42, west of George Street in Paisley, FHP said.
“There was a multi-vehicle crash involving a marked Lake County Sheriff’s patrol car and six other vehicles due to fog in the area,” Trooper Migdalisis Garcia told Inside Lake. “There were no serious injuries reported.”
A Lake County Fire Rescue vehicle responding to the crash was rear-ended by a Dodge Ram, causing a secondary crash in the area, Garcia said. No one was injured in that crash.
The crashes closed County Road 42 for several hours. Both crashes remain under investigation, Garcia said.
