LADY LAKE, Fla. — Lady Lake police are asking for the public’s help following a fatal pedestrian crash early Tuesday. Shortly before 3:30 a.m., the driver of a gray 2023 Toyota Tacoma was traveling on U.S. Highway 27 near Hartsock Mill Road when she saw a man wearing dark clothing and standing in the middle southbound lane, according to Town of Lady Lake Communications Director Elisha Pappacoda. Pedestrian killed Wednesday identified as Eustis woman

EUSTIS, Fla. — The pedestrian killed Wednesday afternoon in Eustis has been identified. Teresa Ann Ramsey, 61, of Eustis, was struck after entering the roadway in the 2100 block of East Orange Avenue on foot, around 1:20 p.m., according to Eustis Police Department. She was transported to AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, where she was pronounced deceased. The crash shut down Orange Avenue, also known as State Road 44, for about three hours. Mount Dora Police Department is assisting with the investigation and it remains ongoing, EPD Chief Craig Capri said.

LADY LAKE, Fla. — A pedestrian walking on Rolling Acres Road was killed Monday after being struck by a vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The 25-year-old Lady Lake man was walking south near Abeble Road shortly before 12:45 p.m. when he was hit by a 2008 Ford Edge being driven southbound by an 18-year-old Lady Lake woman, FHP said. SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla.—A pedestrian was killed in Seminole County after walking into the direct path of truck being driven by a Eustis man Wednesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
