Fatal crash shuts down SR 33 south of Groveland

11:45 p.m. update: Teens killed, 6-year-old seriously injured in Saturday night crash near Groveland – Inside Lake

GROVELAND, Fla.— A fatal crash Saturday night has shut down State Road 33, south of Groveland, according to multiple law enforcement agencies.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol’s website, the fatal crash occurred around 6:15 p.m. on State Road 33 near Groveland Farms Road. State Road 33 is closed between Millstream Road and Pine Island Road, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post.

Sources told Inside Lake two people were killed.
