UMATILLA, Fla.— A months-long investigation involving two counties culminated Tuesday with the execution of a search warrant and an arrest in a case involving sex crimes against a minor, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Jordan Charles Lewis, 30, of Umatilla was arrested Tuesday following an investigation that began in October 2025 when the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office forwarded a report to LCSO alleging a victim had engaged in sexual activity with Lewis.
The report, written by a school resource deputy (SRD) at a Citrus County high school, stated the victim disclosed she received Snapchat messages from Lewis soliciting sex. Inside Lake is not naming the high school to protect the victim’s identity. The victim told the SRD in August 2025, Lewis sent an Uber to transport her from her home in Citrus County to Lewis’ home in Umatilla at 18321 Webster Hill Road, an LCSO probable cause affidavit states.
She told the SRD the pair engaged in sexual activities while at Lewis’ home. She was unable to provide his full name and address but said his first name was “Jordan” and described a faded flower tattoo on his neck. She gave the SRD his Snapchat handle, “Simpsprings,” according to the affidavit.
An LCSO detective contacted the victim’s grandmother and arranged a meeting, but the grandmother canceled the next day and said her granddaughter did not want to pursue the criminal complaint. LCSO then set up a meeting with the victim and the SRD at the victim’s Citrus County high school.
The victim, reluctant at first, told the detective she “got over it already.” He explained to her he wanted to clarify his understanding of the allegations; he read her information from the report, and said he wanted to give her an opportunity to correct any “misunderstandings.” She began speaking freely and said Lewis contacted her sometime in August 2025, and proposed meeting up with her for sex. She said an Uber picked her up sometime between 11 p.m. and midnight and took her to Lewis’ home in Umatilla. She described it as a remote area and the property had a house and RV on it. She said Lewis made her walk 10 feet behind him as he led her to the RV where they engaged in sexual activities, the affidavit states.
She said while she was in the RV with Lewis, his wife began banging on the door, interrupting them. Lewis went outside to speak with her and told the detective she heard her yelling at Lewis about being married and cheating. She then came into the RV, confronted the victim, and told her to leave. Lewis offered to send her home in an Uber, but the rides were declined.
The victim said after the wife left, they engaged in sexual activity again and after they were finished and Uber transported her back home between 5 and 6 a.m. She said Lewis contacted her multiple times following their meeting, and said his messages didn’t make sense due to his drug use. She said he sent her a screenshot of him engaged in a sex act with another female and she recognized herself in a thumbnail in the screenshot.
At the end of the interview, the detective asked the victim what she thought should happen to Lewis and she reportedly said he should go to jail and lose his children.

In December 2025, the detective received records from Uber that confirmed Lewis ordered an Uber that performed a pickup on Aug. 18, 2025, near the victim’s home, and a drop-off near his home.
LCSO interviewed Lewis’ wife in early January, and she said she had previously lived at the home on Webster Hill Road but moved after telling Lewis she wanted a divorce. She told the detective she requested the divorce after finding out Lewis was using drugs and paying for female prostitutes. She said she believed the females were prostitutes because she discovered transfers of “hundreds of dollars” in two payment apps.
She told the detective in August 2025, she discovered Lewis and a female naked in the RV, with what she believed to be drugs. She said she told the female to leave the property, and Lewis told her to wait in the main home until he “kicked the female out,” the affidavit states.
She returned to the RV the next morning and found Lewis with a different female, asleep. The two females had a verbal confrontation and the unidentified female left. Lewis then told her the first female left and the second came prior to her coming back to the RV.
A warrant was issued for Lewis’ arrest and search warrant was executed at his Webster Hill Road home Tuesday. He is facing three counts of unlawful sexual activities with certain minors and is being held in the Lake County Jail on no bond.
