ALTOONA, Florida—The Lake County Sheriff’s Office in investigating a double homicide that occurred around 9 p.m. Thursday, according to LCSO Lt. John Herrell.
LCSO responded to 45918 Pennsylvania Road on a report of two people shot and found David Thomas Mikell, 34 of Umatilla, and Shane Eugene Clements, 41, of Altoona, dead from apparent gunshot wounds, according to Herrell.
Neither one of the men live at the home, and the shootings were not a random act, Herrell said.
