LEESBURG, Fla. — Two people are being held without bond in the Lake County Jail after a search warrant at what deputies described as a “fake business” uncovered a large quantity of drugs Thursday, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau executed a narcotics search warrant at 1645 Veech Road in Leesburg, a location commonly known as “The Carwash,” LCSO Sgt. LCSO executes narcotics search warrants at two Eustis homes

EUSTIS, Fla. — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office executed two narcotics-related search warrants in Eustis Thursday morning, Inside Lake has learned. Details remained limited early Thursday afternoon. LCSO Public Information Officer Deputy Stephanie Earley said the warrants were executed at 1022 and 1024 Morin Street. Deputies and detectives remained on scene just before noon, with a portion of Morin Street closed as the investigation continued. A tent was set up near the scene with numerous items laid out on a table, along with brown paper bags commonly used for evidence. This is a developing story.

Trick or Treat? Eustis PD Serves Up Search Warrant Halloween Morning

EUSTIS, Florida—In response to numerous complaints, Eustis Police Department executed a search warrant on a home before daybreak Monday, according to Chief Craig Capri. Four people were arrested in the home at 15 Haselton Street, which had deplorable conditions, including a roach infestation and no running water, said Capri, who was on scene, along with City Manager Tom Carrino and Mayor Michael Holland. The house has since been condemned. “The residents should not have to tolerate living near this type of property,” Capri said.
