CLERMONT, Fla. — A Clermont man was killed early Sunday after his car ran off the road, struck a curb and two trees, then overturned, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The 36-year-old was driving a 2007 Porsche Boxster northbound on Greater Hills Boulevard near Charter Oaks Trail in unincorporated Clermont shortly before 2:15 a.m. when he ran off the road, FHP said. The Porsche struck a curb and two trees before overturning and landing on its roof.
The man was transported to Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The crash remains under investigation.
