LEESBURG, Fla.—Kaili Dupuis, the girlfriend of accused murderer Alex Lopez, is in custody after turning herself in at the Lake County Jail Tuesday, Leesburg Police Department Sgt. Shannon Walsh said.
Dupuis, 25, turned herself in Tuesday afternoon after being wanted by LPD for less than a week. Dupuis is accused of helping Lopez dodge law enforcement after a warrant was issued for his arrest for the tragic murder of Raied “Ray” Shihadeh, 51, May 30 at Fast Stop Superette on Picciola Road in Leesburg. Shihadeh was killed on his daughter’s 16th birthday.
Lopez’ mother, Patricia Kinchens, 43, and his sister, Breanna Lopez, 27, were arrested last week for their roles in helping Lopez evade capture following the armed robbery and murder. All three women are being held on no bond.
