Eustis Police Investigating Wednesday Morning Stabbing

EUSTIS, Fla.—Eustis Police Department is investigating a stabbing that sent a 28-year-old man to the hospital early Wednesday morning.

The man told police he was near the intersection of Palmetto Street and Bates Avenue around 5:40 a.m. when a man came out of a wooded area, they exchanged words and the man attacked him, according to Eustis Police Department.

The victim suffered superficial cuts to his back, arm, hand and behind his ear, EPD said. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to be OK.
