Tickets Available for Clean Comedy Show in Eustis Saturday Night

EUSTIS, Florida—Laughs for the whole family will be on tap Saturday night in Eustis.

House of Laughter is celebrating its 7th anniversary with its Off to the Races “clean” comedy show scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Mieluz Grand Hall, 415 North Grove Street, Eustis.

The show will feature comedians, Cazsell Williams, Roy Richardson, Renard Hirsch and host Demetrius Wheeler; food will be available for purchase by Chef Michael Ponder and Blessed Looks by Sharon Hooks will have jewelry on hand. Tickets are $20 each or two tickets for $30 and can be purchased here or at FTG Global, 1181 East Alfred Street, Tavares.

House of Laughter was born from a tragic situation seven years ago, when CEO Darius Kerrison lost his mom. “It was something to get my (three) aunties together,” Kerrison told Inside Lake. After the loss of his mother, Kerrison wanted them to laugh, make memories and act like kids again, so he provided that avenue.

Kerrison said it was always his dream to bring a comedy show to the area and he would often talk to his mom about it. “So many (people) had to go to Orlando to get a good show with high-quality comedians,” he said.

Though many vulgar comedians are popular, Kerrison chose to keep this event “clean.”

“I wanted to provide family entertainment that the whole family could enjoy, laugh and make memories, just as mine has over the years,” Kerrison said.

The show is sponsored by Hutto Enterprizes Inc., Fred Consulting, Hayes Bros Funeral Home, Prestige Ford of Mount Dora, P&R Enterprise, Duct Man Mechanical, Christian Worship Center and the City of Eustis.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Saturday and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
