EUSTIS, Fla. — Eustis Police Department is searching for a suspect accused of attempting to kill a law enforcement officer during an early Saturday morning incident. Shakoi Donovan, 28, is wanted on charges of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing to elude, resisting with violence and resisting without violence, according to EPD. The incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. near East Quayle Avenue and South Eustis Street. Police have not released any details about what led to the charges. Man wanted for capital sexual battery of a child, Tavares police say

TAVARES, Fla.— Tavares Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted for capital sexual battery on a child under 12. Orlando De La Rosa Jimenez, 30, is the subject of an investigation that started earlier this week and frequents Tavares and may have ties to other local cities, TPD Det. Courtney Sullivan said. Limited information has been released because it’s an active investigation, she said. Multiple law enforcement agencies are assisting TPD in locating Jimenez, Sullivan said, including federal authorities. If you see Jimenez, do not approach him, call 911.

Leesburg police identify murder suspect, need public’s help finding him

LEESBURG, Fla.—Leesburg Police Department has identified the man they believe is responsible for a murder and armed robbery Thursday night. A warrant has been issued for Alex Lopez, 25, of Wildwood for premeditated murder, armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and using a firearm during a felony. Shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday, a man believed to be Lopez, entered Fast Stop Superette, 3702 Picciola Road, and shot Raied Shihadeh, 51. LCSO and EPD Search for “Possibly Armed” and “Dangerous” Suspect

EUSTIS, Fla.—The Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Eustis Police Department and Eagle One, LCSO’s helicopter, are searching for a suspect near Eustis Middle School wanted in an aggravated assault case. LCSO received a report of an aggravated assault around 5:30 pm. Sunday at a home on Bates Avenue in LCSO’s jurisdiction, LCSO Lt. John Herrell said.
