Oct. 10–31: Pumpkin Patch | Fruitland Park
Community United Methodist Church’s 24th annual pumpkin patch will offer pumpkins, gourds and new photo opportunities. Pumpkin sales benefit local children and youth.
Time: Saturdays, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Sunday–Friday, 1–7 p.m.

Oct. 17: Spring Creek Charter School Fall Festival
The festival will feature a cake walk, cow chip bingo, food, raffles and games. A costume contest begins at 1 p.m.

Oct. 17: Fall Harvest Festival | Mount Dora
The evening will feature vendors, a DJ, strolling performers and art paired with music by Sergio through Acrylic Beats. Vendor and attraction areas open at 5 p.m., followed by the Downtown Scarecrow Stroll at 5:30 p.m. Acrylic Beats presentations are scheduled for 6, 7 and 8 p.m., each lasting 20 minutes. A fall-themed drone display begins at 8:30 p.m.

Oct. 17: Spooky Park’s Haunted Trail | Lady Lake
Scare actors, eerie scenes and surprises await visitors along the haunted trail after dark.

Oct. 18: Praise in the Patch | Fruitland Park
Community United Methodist Church will host an evening of praise music, games and food at its pumpkin patch. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Umatilla Public Library will host trunk or treating with candy, a haunted caboose and a petting zoo. Bring a costume and candy bag.

Oct. 24: Not Too Scary Halloween Boo Bash | Lady Lake
The family event will feature music, food trucks, candy, bounce houses and a Halloween costume contest. Contest categories include ages 4 and younger, 5–8, 9 and older, and families.

Eustis Parks and Recreation will host trunk or treating, candy, games and activities, with costume prizes for ages 17 and younger. Food trucks will have food available for purchase.

Oct. 24: Family Halloween Party | Mascotte
Mascotte’s Family Halloween Party will feature costume and pumpkin contests. Minors attending without a parent must stay until 9:30 p.m., when a parent or guardian arrives to pick them up.

Oct. 30: Trunk or Treat | Groveland
The city’s annual celebration will feature trick-or-treating, decorated trunks, music, entertainment and awards for the best-decorated trunks and costumes. Bring a candy bag and wear a costume.

Downtown Tavares will host trunk or treating, games, performers, DJ music, food vendors and a movie in the park. A kids’ costume contest begins at 7 p.m. A “creepy tent,” sponsored by Golden Triangle YMCA, will also be part of the festivities.

Nov. 6–7: Montverde Day Fall Music Festival | Montverde
The 46th annual festival will feature live music, dancing, food trucks, vendors, midway games, an art show, a car and truck show, dog shows, Polynesian dancers, LED robots and more than 100 raffle prizes.
Scheduled musical acts include Soul Circus Cowboys on Friday and KC & the ’70s Flashback Party Band, Beauty & the Beats, and Vinyl Highway on Saturday.
