CLERMONT, Florida—A Clermont man is dead following a single-vehicle crash late Tuesday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The 32-year-old man was driving a 2018 Dodge Challenger on Lake Louisa Road approaching Via Roma Circle, near Clermont around 11:10 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve, FHP Lt. Tara Crescenzi said.
He ran off the road and struck a fence, a tree, a utility pole and bushes and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
