United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties presents the annual Hometown Hero Hoedown. Saddle up and bring the whole family. This is an annual recognition of community heroes. Where: Far Reach Ranch 1255 S. Dora Blvd, Tavares, FL 32778. When: Friday, April 29, 2022 5:00PM-8:00PM.
Each year, a Hometown Hero from both Lake and Sumter counties are selected from your nominations. Nominations are still open at https://www.uwls.org/hometown-hero-nomination/.
There will be Awards-Raffle-Silent Auction-Kids Games and Prizes-Live Animals-Cow Plop Bingo-Food Trucks-Live Music-Adult Beverages.
